East Algoma OPP lays break and enter charges

East Algoma OPP has made arrests in connection to a break and enter in Blind River and recovered some of the stolen items.

Constable Bev Gauthier says on March 23rd officers investigated a break and enter at a residence in Blind River.

She adds a couple of days later two people were arrested, a 42-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, both from Blind River, and both were charged with one count each of break and enter and possession of stolen property.

Gauthier says a third suspect, a 37-year-old man from Blind River was arrested on Tuesday, charged with break and enter, and is to appear in Elliot Lake court June 2nd.

She adds with the assistance of a pawn shop in Sault Ste Marie the two guitars and guitar accessories were retrieved, and the items returned to the owner.
