A long-time Espanola volunteer will be laid to rest this Friday.
Edwin (Ed) Land of Espanola has been involved with the Espanola & District Snowmobile Club for decades and spent most of the winter seasons grooming and maintaining trails throughout the area.
His wife, Theresa is equally well known for raising thousands of dollars for the Espanola – North Shore Snowarama for Easter Seals, an event he loved to participate in too.
A funeral mass will be held this Friday at 11 am at the St. Jude Parish church.
Land was 82.
