The investigation into a crash that killed two people on Highway 17 is continuing.
Manitoulin OPP Constable Tessa Kasch says police, the local fire department and paramedics were all called to the scene near Massey on Saturday night, which involved two tractor-trailers and a passenger vehicle.
She says the investigation determined the passenger vehicle was travelling westbound when it crossed the centre line, sideswiping the first transport, and then crossed again hitting an eastbound transport head-on.
She says both motorists in the passenger vehicle were killed.
The passenger has been identified as 51-year-old Patrick Heeley from Massey and the identity of the driver will be released once the post-mortem is completed.
