The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters has provided a grant to make improvements in the Black Creek area in Espanola.
The Espanola Game and Fish Club partnered with Autism Acceptance to develop the four-season Black Creek Sno-Trail, which has proven to be a popular spot for residents and visitors alike.
Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters Zone “D” approved a $2,500 grant to do more upgrades in the local area, which is wheelchair and handicapped accessible.
Besides the trail, the amenity also features the Black Creek Fishing Pier, a picnic area as well as benches and wild animal feeding areas for the public to enjoy.
