For the 19th year in a row, Cambrian College’s Dental Hygiene students are once again lacing up for a good cause.
Program instructor Heather MacKenzie says the Walk For A Smile is an annual event in which students
log their kilometres and raise funds for local charities.
She says this year’s event will be held Saturday, April 9th from 9 am to 8 pm.
MacKenzie adds to be safe, students will follow COVID19 protocols while taking photos of their walks around the city, such as Science North, Ramsey Lake, and the Big Nickel as part of this year’s theme, The Beauty of Sudbury.
She says the goal this year is $5,000 to be shared between the college’ and the city food banks.
