Elliot Lake could see some new builds soon.
Council accepted an agreement to sell 19 serviced lots in the city to a builder for $450,000.
The lots are located on McLaren Crescent, Camillus Crescent and Taylor Boulevard.
Kingsway Investments of Hamilton has also agreed that two model homes are to be built by September 30 of next year with the rest built within the next four years.
Council also stipulated if the conditions are not met for construction of the 1,200 square foot homes, the city can repurchase the land at 80 percent of the purchase price.
