The Espanola Elks will be welcoming their national leader next month.
Wanda Ouimette says the Elks are hosting a members-only dinner with Grand Exalted Ruler Maurice Koszman of Saskatchewan.
She says the evening will not only be an opportunity to talk to him about the work carried out by the organization but will see new members receive their induction and service pins.
Ouimette says the work carried out by the Elks focuses on families, especially children and seniors with a cheque being presented to Koszman for the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children.
The evening will also highlight the long history of the club in the local area, which will officially celebrate its 71st anniversary this year.
