East Algoma OPP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred yesterday afternoon.
Constable Bev Gauthier says yesterday around 3 pm, police and emergency responders including fire, and hydro were called out to a collision involving a pickup truck on Highway 17 in Algoma Mills.
She says the investigation determined a pick-up truck was travelling westbound when it left the highway and rolled onto its roof in the south side ditch.
Gauthier adds the unidentified driver was pronounced deceased at the scene and a post-mortem will be held in Sault Ste. Marie.
Gauthier says the investigation is ongoing.
