An Espanola business has donated a finished quilt to an upcoming Lions Club convention.
According to Espanola Lions spokesperson Grant Lewis, Cindy Bergeron from Cindy Bee’s Quilt Shop in Espanola donated the material and time valued at over $1,000 to produce a quilt for the Lions to raffle off.
He says the A5 District Lions Convention is set to take place in Sudbury April 22 to 24 with the funds going towards club initiatives.
He adds the time and expertise she put into the project is much appreciated by the club.
