The Green Party of Ontario has nominated David Robinson as its candidate for Sudbury ahead of the 2022 provincial election.
Robinson previously represented the party in Sudbury in the 2015 by-election and 2018 general election.
He says he is proud to run once again adding the Ontario Greens are the only party with a serious plan to tackle the climate emergency, which will be the focus of his platform.
Robinson was a professor for 36 years at Laurentian University focusing on resource and environmental economics and served as Director of the Institute for Northern Ontario Research and Development.
He is also a published author on the topics of community forestry and Northern Ontario development, founded the School of Architecture for Northern Ontario and was a senior fellow at the Northern Ontario Policy Institute.
