An Elliot Lake school had to close yesterday, but not due to the weather or busing issues.
Central Avenue Public School Angelo D’Amato says he had to close the school yesterday due to a shortage of teachers.
He says if the same situation occurs today, an email will be sent to parents and there will also be a notice posted to their information sites.
