Organizers are hoping to see plenty of people come out for the Espanola Winter Carnival this weekend.
Several local organizations have come together to host safe events for families.
Some of the events include a Family Skate with Espanola Lions Club members providing hot dogs and hot chocolate and the 2022 Lap Challenge by the Espanola Figure Skating Club taking place at the Oval adjacent to the recreation centre on Saturday afternoon.
Boogie Mountain is hosting its popular Big Air Rail Jam ski and snowboard competitions as well as radar runs for both skiers and snowboarders, also on Saturday.
There are hockey games with the Espanola Express and the Espanola-North Shore Snowarama will cap off the festivities on Sunday.
