Easter Seals Regional administrator Carmen Bazinet says she will be in Espanola on Sunday morning for riders to register and bring in their pledges for the Espanola-North Shore Snowarama.
She says the annual ride is a fundraiser for Easter Seals Kids, children with disabilities, with the funds staying in the local area to help with equipment, programming and even sending them to camp.
Bazinet says registration is open from 10 am to 11 am at the Tim Horton’s on Centre Street in Espanola.
Still with the story, an Elliot Lake man has reached his goal of $4,000 for the event.
Leo Deveau says the response has been fantastic, extending a thank you to everyone who supported the cause.
He says he is looking forward to taking part in the ride this weekend and encourages everyone to participate, and if they are unable to do so, to donate.
