The Sudbury-based NEO kids has received another financial boost from a local area family.
The NEO Kids Foundation accepted another $250,000 donation from Sudbury’s Cousineau family and their Northeastern Ontario-based company, OCP Construction Supplies.
Our family is grateful to have had access to great care and services offered by the NEO Kids program, says Rick Cousineau adding it is their way of giving back to the community and investing in children’s futures.
Hospital foundation and volunteer group president Anthony Keating says the funding will go towards specialized pediatric equipment and technology to improve patient care.
The family had presented the foundation with another $250,000 last year bringing their total support to half-a-million dollars.
