Sault Ste. Marie police expect to charge an 87-year-old man after a motorcyclist was struck and killed by a pick-up truck. The elderly man was making a U-turn when the fatal collision took place Saturday afternoon. The victim, a 61-year-old man, died later in hospital from his injuries. The motorcyclist is the third person to die in the Sault this year. During the winter two pedestrians were killed by vehicles in separate incidents. The deaths in January and February are still being investigated by the corner.
