A store of a different kind has opened in Blind River.
Maple Acres Farm owners, Ron and Jayne Baxter, have opened a shop in Blind River, which gets its stock from 27 different local businesses.
Jayne says they supply the public with fresh produce, eggs, butter, honey and so much more.
She adds they are also introducing a recycling program where customers can bring in their own cartons or containers to refill with sugar, granola, or other food products.
The duo point out with the supply chains affected by the pandemic, they hope to fill a niche for the public and are following COVID protocols with their opening yesterday.
