For the seventh straight year, the Espanola Lions Club has supported the Tree of Lights fundraiser at Manitoulin Centennial Manor in Little Current.
Lion’s club representative Mike Dubrieul says some 15 percent of the residents are from the Espanola and Massey area.
He says their annual Tree of Lights fundraiser has resulted in the installation of a new call bell system, replacement of carpet with nonslip flooring, the installation of patient ceiling lifts, a remodelling of the outdoor garden area and the remodelling of the dining and common room areas at the facility.
Last week, Dubrieul presented a cheque for $2,000 for this year’s campaign.
