SPORTS – NOJHL announces three-week pause to season

The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced a three-week pause to its 2021-22 regular season.

League president Robert Mazzuca says the move comes because of the COVID-19 restrictions put in place by the province.

He says the league’s regular-season had originally been slated to begin the 2022-portion of the campaign later this week.

Mazzuca adds further updates, including game schedule changes, playoff formats, and other related information, which will be released if there are changes to the restrictions.
