NDP leader Thomas Mulcair will visit Sudbury as part of his eight-day tour of Ontario this month. The federal NDP held the riding until last December when Glenn Thibeault defected to the provincial Liberals and won a by-election. Mulcair is targeting Ontario ridings where he believes his federal New Democrats have a chance of winning. It’s widely expected that the Prime Minister will call an election for October 19th. Mulcair drops in on Sudbury next Monday.
