Lots of vandalism on Manitoulin

There’s thousands of dollars in damage to the buildings on Treasure Island in Lake Mindemoya.  Manitoulin OPP say someone broke into main lodge of the business plus several cabins and smashed doors and discharged the fire extinguishers.  Two golf carts stored in a garage were also extensively damaged.  Police are investigating and are looking for the public’s help with information on this crime.  Meanwhile, island OPP are also trying to find who vandalized a statue of a deer.  Police say someone poured bright yellow paint over the statue which is next to the Tourist Information Booth in Manitowaning.  Police are looking for the public’s help with information on both crimes.
