Ontario sees increase in new COVID-19 cases while seven day average continues to climb

Ontario is reporting close to 800 new COVID-19 cases.

The province added 780 on  Wednesday as well as five new deaths.

Test positivity is at 3.1 per cent.

The rolling seven-day average of new cases continues to climb and is now at 821.

Across the province, 155 people are in intensive care being treated for the virus.
