2021_12_01 It’s a crime to celebrate Christmas too early

It’s now a crime to start celebrating Christmas too early.
A family in the US found out the hard way. They put their Christmas decorations up, and within a day received a letter from their community group that they’ll be charged $100 each day their Christmas lights are up before American Thanksgiving.
It’s understandable why you’d want to give Thanksgiving some space… but this would all be solved if Americans realized they’re celebrating on the wrong day. But I digress.
The family should protest the charges, and the best way to protest is using the art of confusion. From now on, they should celebrate every holiday super early. Throw up a Nativity scene in July. Start a New Year’s countdown in April. Do whatever you need to do to annoy the community group!
