Gore Bay is getting ready to celebrate in a big way later this month. The community is commemorating its 125th anniversary as a stand-alone municipality. The official anniversary of Gore Bay’s incorporation was April 7th. But the town has set aside the weekend of July 24th to take advantage of the summer weather.
