Espanola woman faces additional charge in connection with shooting

The Manitoulin OPP has laid an additional charge in connection with the January 21, 2021, shooting incident on Albert Street in Espanola, where one person was injured.

OPP Constable Tessa Kasch says this Tuesday, 40-year-old Kerri Lyn Duhaime was charged with robbery using a firearm.

She adds the woman is already before the courts on multiple charges along with nine other individuals charged in connection with the incident.

Kasch says the investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information can contact police or Crimestoppers.
