The annual Friendly Massey Marathon hits the ground this weekend. The event features a full marathon, a half marathon and the Chute`s Run which is only 10 kilometres. All the runs take place Sunday morning. Leading up to it on Saturday are family events like fun runs and a cycle tour of the marathon route. The marathon`s famous spaghetti feast is in the evening. Also, participants need to register on Saturday to indicate what marathon they`re running on the Sunday. Registration is at the Massey and District Arena and begins at 11:00 a.m. The marathon attracts runners from around the world.
