Espanola to train more lifeguards

Espanola is getting ready to train more lifeguards for next summer.  The town loses a good number of its lifeguards each fall when students head back to college or university.  So the province is giving the town $38,200 to train new lifeguards and to buy equipment for trending aquatic programs.  Application forms are available at the recreation complex or online at www.espanola.ca  The training is expected to start in September.
