OPP have identified the victim of a two vehicle crash near Walford on Highway 17. Dead is 67-year-old Joseph Schofield of Cutler. Schofield was westbound Friday night in his SUV when he hit a moose and then crashed head on into an eastbound car. Schofield died at the scene. His 67-year-old passenger, Marella Schofield and the driver of the car were treated for their injuries. OPP closed the highway for seven hours Friday night and it re-opened about 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
