East Algoma OPP investigated a robbery at a residence in Elliot Lake arresting one individual.
OPP Constable Phil Young says on Tuesday afternoon around 5 pm, police responded to a robbery at an apartment on Beckett Boulevard in the city.
He says the complainant reported the night before that an acquaintance wanted to stay overnight, but was refused entry and then was knocked unconscious.
Young says the complainant awoke to find their wallet, jewelry, and some groceries missing.
Young adds a 48-year-old man of no fixed address was found and charged with robbery, assault causing bodily harm, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, and unlawfully being in a dwelling house.
