Speed traps expected in Kagawong

Motorists driving in the Kagawong area on Manitoulin better ease up on the gas pedal.  The speed limit in Bridal Vail Falls drops to 50 kilometres an hour but residents say some drivers are not slowing down.  That`s a big concern because many people in the area walk along the highway and there are also a lot of cars parked along the roadway.  Residents and island OPP say speedy drivers could kill or seriously hurt someone.  For now police will set up their speed radar sign at the site and record the average speed.  Once they have that information, the sign will be replaced with radar traps and speed fines will be issued.
