Health Sciences North says they have employees who could face termination if they are not vaccinated against COVID-19.
Communication director Jason Turnbull says when they announced their mandatory vaccination policy on November 1st, the hospital had 244 employees and four credentialed professional staff who had yet to provide evidence of the first dose of vaccination for COVID-19.
He says now all credentialed professional staff is now in compliance, but as of this Monday, there are still 76 employees who were put on unpaid leave.
Turnbull says they have until Friday, November 26th to be compliant with the policy or face termination.
