Manitoulin OPP is investigating a sudden death on Manitoulin Island.
OPP Constable Tessa Kasch says last Friday shortly after 6 pm, police and emergency services responded to a report of a sudden death on Poplar Road north of Gore Bay.
She says the deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Matthew Mandigo of Sables-Spanish Rivers Township.
Kasch says the cause of death is not known at this time.

She adds the investigation is ongoing and a post-mortem examination will take place in Sudbury.
Kasch adds there is no threat to public safety.
