People on Manitoulin Island will now have a bussing option to get to Sudbury.
This weekend, United Manitoulin Islands Transit started offering a bus run from Gore Bay to Sudbury’s COSTCO on Saturdays with a two-hour layover, then back to the Island.
Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands Mayor Al McNevin says he thinks it is a great idea and hopes that it will be a successful endeavour.
The run includes stops for pickup in various communities along the way on the Island.
Tickets are $60 per person.
