OPP on Manitoulin will be stepping up enforcement in a village on the island. Police are getting numerous complaints that motorists are not stopping at a four-way stop in Tehkummah. The concern is that someone running a stop sign could hurt or kill someone or cause a car crash. To ensure enforcement, OPP will set themselves up at the problem site and ticket law-breakers. Failing to stop will result in a $110 fine plus three demerit points on your driver`s license.
