Preliminary hearing into sex-related case underway in Espanola

The preliminary hearing of an Espanola man charged with dozens of sex-related offenses involving young boys is underway.  Last year Paul McColeman was hit with 70 offenses including charges of luring children, overcoming resistance and sexual exploitation.  He was arrested last July 10th and has been out on bail with very strict conditions.  Espanola police determined that 20 young men came into contact with the accused from 2006 to last year.  At the time the men were 12 to 16 years old.  Two weeks have been set aside for the preliminary hearing which is taking place in Espanola.
