One of Cameco’s western operations has received an award from the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. The uranium company’s McArthur River Mine in Saskatoon is the recipient of the John T. Ryan Safety trophy. The presentation was made during CIM’s annual awards ceremony in Vancouver. And taking the Barlow medal for best geological paper was John Ayer, who is with the Earth Sciences department at Laurentian University.
