A well-known Espanola artist has donated an original painting to the new Sacred Heart.
Penny Bois says she started painting the “Canadians We Stand United” at the beginning of the pandemic.
She says even though everyone had to isolate, she felt as a nation people had united together to help each other as best they could during the various shutdowns.
Bois adds she feels the painting sends a strong message to students and donated the painting to the school late last week.
