The May long weekend is the unofficial start to summer, as people start opening their camps. To make sure you have a safe weekend, the Electrical Safety Authority has some tips. If a tree is down and close to power lines, call your utility company. Also check all the wiring around the camp to make sure nothing is exposed before turning on the power.
