A man known to frequent the local area is missing and the East Algoma OPP is asking for the public’s assistance in finding him.
OPP Constable Phil Young says 48-year-old Richard Martel was last seen in Ottawa in June of 2020.
Young says his description has been released by police in a concerted effort to see if anyone has any information about Martel’s disappearance or his whereabouts.
He adds Martel has ties to Blind River, Sault Ste. Marie and Timmins.
Young says anyone with information is asked to call OPP.
