Espanola Elks annual Hamper Fund set to go

The Espanola Elks Annual Hamper Fund is set to go once again

Gary Tennent says the hampers, which provide not only complete Christmas dinners, but also toys and gifts for families, is geared to people in need.

He adds registration is required and people must attend in person at the Elks Hall on November 25th, 26th and 27th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm following COVID protocols.

Hampers will be delivered to homes throughout the Espanola and local North Shore area on Saturday, December 18th.

Moose 99.3FM will be supporting the initiative on-site at FreshCo in the Espanola Mall on Saturday, November 27 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to collect donations and prizes to cover the cost of the hampers.

Tennant adds on average over 200 households a year receive the annual support since its inception 44 years ago.

To make a donation, call Tennant at 705-869-4302.
