A former Espanola resident who works as a swing announcer and news reporter has written a book about his journey with autism.
Blake Priddle says his journey from being non-verbal to working on the radio has not been an easy one, but with the support of family, friends, educators and the community at large, he is happy to finally be doing the work he loves.
He says his book is to not only to share that story, but to encourage others on the autism spectrum to continue following their dreams from the perspective of his own challenges.
The book is called Good Morning, Blake Growing Up Autistic And Being Okay is available online at Amazon and Indigo.
Priddle says he will also be coming home during the Christmas holidays and plans to host a book signing while in town.
