Canadore College in North Bay is putting forth an election issue. Its president, George Burton, says Ontario’s 24 community colleges need to expand the range of degree programs they offer. And Burton wants all three political parties to support three year degree programs and expand the number of four year degree program. Burton also says degrees should replace the diploma or certificate most colleges still offer students.
