Arrest made in death of pedestrian on Espanola bridge

Back in early June, a teen was struck and died of his injuries on the Spanish River Bridge.

Manitoulin OPP Constable Tessa Kasch says an arrest has been made in connection with the death of 18-year-old Sky Sagassige from Sables-Spanish River Township.

Kasch says officers arrested and charged 35-year-old Michael Stolar of Hamilton on October 26th with failing to stop at an accident resulting in death.

Kasch says on June 12th at approximately 12:49 am, officers responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on Highway 6 in Espanola.
