Elliot Lake’s Family Health Team will be hosting a clinic for those wanting a flu shot.
A clinic will be held this Friday during the weekly COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Collins Hall.
The family health team is asking for anyone who wants to have the influenza or COVID shot to call and book an appointment.
Limited amounts of flu vaccine have been distributed to area pharmacies or doctors including those in Elliot Lake, Espanola, Blind River and other health centres throughout the North Channel corridor.
Public Health Sudbury & Districts states it is launching this year’s flu campaign next Monday asking the public to also call their physician, pharmacy or health team for appointments.
