The finger pointing has started on why Ontario doesn’t have a financial accountability office. The Liberals blame the NDP and the New Democrats say it’s the Liberals’ fault. Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson says the Liberals tried to push a hand-picked candidate into the position. For their part the Liberals claim the NDP blocked the appointment of two qualified candidates then complained that no officer was appointed.
