Raking leaves is a thing of the past.
The Nature Conservancy of Canada just announced that leaving leaves on the ground is good! It gives little critters a natural environment, decomposes in the spring and provides nutrients for grass and trees.
You don’t need to tell me to stop raking twice. Raking is such a tedious and pointless chore. No matter how well you rake, there’s still more leaves on the ground. I’ll just leave them and let winter’s snow do the work for me.
