Espanola council has given its approval to signing a lease with the Espanola Golf & Country Club for tennis and pickleball courts.
Council has agreed to execute an agreement between the town and the golf club for the public use of the tennis and pickleball courts belonging to the Espanola Golf and Country Club.
As to the proposed renovations, that is a matter for future discussion.
A proposal is still on the table to look at upgrading the courts for the shared sports, which will be discussed at upcoming meetings.
