Disturbance results in multiple charges

Manitoulin OPP has laid multiple charges against an Espanola man following a disturbance at a local residence.
OPP Constable Tessa Kasch says officers were called out to a disturbance on Barber Street on October 3 and during the arrest, a police officer was assaulted, and others threatened.
She says a 41-year-old resident of Espanola has been charged with three counts of uttering threats, assaulting an officer, resisting an officer, assault with intent to resist arrest, two counts of mischief and breach.
She adds he is to appear in Espanola court on December 6th.
