It is not the grand opening they envisioned but the official recognition of the new joint school in Espanola will take place.
Communication director Paul de la Riva says the opening of École catholique La Renaissance, Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School, and Our Children, Our Future Daycare will take place this Thursday.
He says there will be an official blessing and several keynote speakers taking part.
De la Riva adds due to COVID-19 protocols, access to the facility is not possible.
The grand opening takes place at 1 pm.
