Hydro One is planning an Island-wide outage in late October.
Residents and businesses are being notified there will be a planned power outage on Manitoulin Island.
According to the release, the outage takes place on Saturday, October 23rd for nine hours from eight am to four pm.
The outage is to update equipment.
The utility says they are in the process of notification and if there are any changes, they will provide an update on the Hydro One Storm Centre.
