Woman charged with stunt driving and possession

 

An Espanola woman faces stunt driving and drug charges after speeding on Highway 400 near Parry Sound.  OPP was conducting radar on the highway Friday afternoon when they spotted a driver going more than 50km/h over the posted limit.  Officers stopped the vehicle and noticed marijuana inside.  The 28-year-old driver is charged with Drive Over 50km/h over the limit and Possession of marijuana under 30 grams.  The passenger, a 27-year-old man from Toronto is also charges with possession under 30 grams.  Both will appear in court on April 17th to answer to their charges.
